Aside from Sort, the municipality’s principal town and traditional capital of Pallars Sobirà, which sits on both banks of the Noguera Pallaresa River, with its historic core on the right bank, the municipality includes several villages. These are Altron, la Bastida de Sort, Bernui, Bressui, Castellviny, Enviny, Llarvén, Llessui, Montardit de Baix, Montardit de Dalt, Olp, Pujalt, Saurí and Sorre, as well as the abandoned village of Pernui and the former locations of Vilamflor and Meneurí.
